At Memorial Veterinary Hospital, our goal has always been simple — to care for pets the way we would want our own pets cared for.
Families throughout Lackawanna County trust us with their dogs and cats because we focus on both medical quality and communication. We take time to listen, explain what we’re seeing, and help you understand your options so you can make confident decisions about your pet’s care.
With hospitals in Throop and Dickson City, our team provides preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care while keeping visits as comfortable and low-stress as possible for both pets and people.
Our mission is to support your pet’s health at every stage of life and to be a place you feel comfortable turning to whenever questions or concerns arise.

She lures you in while bobbing and weaving between your legs, asking for attention and then does not hesitate to tell you when she’s had enough! We tried multiple times to give her another feline friend to spend her days with but she insists on being our Queen Bee!
